1. Introduction

Welcome to Nordopoly. We are a service that helps producers of wine, beer, and spirits sell into the Nordic alcohol monopolies in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

By signing up and using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What we do

Nordopoly is a notification and application service. We:

  • Monitor tenders published by the Nordic alcohol monopolies: Systembolaget (Sweden), Vinmonopolet (Norway), and Alko (Finland).
  • Match published tenders to the products in your catalogue.
  • Email you when a tender matches one of your products.
  • Prepare and submit tender applications on your behalf, through licensed importer partners.
  • Coordinate the import of your product through our importer partner network if a tender is won.

Nordopoly does not sell or import alcoholic beverages directly. All tender submissions and imports are handled by licensed importer partners.

We do not provide a dashboard, login portal, or platform to manage tenders yourself. The service runs by email and direct communication.

3. Accounts

  • To use our service, you must sign up and provide accurate, complete information.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age in your country, whichever is higher.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • You agree to update your information when it changes.

4. Fees

  • Annual subscription: EUR 499 per year, paid upfront at sign-up and on each renewal. The subscription gives you access to the service: tender monitoring, matching, notifications, and application support.
  • Service commission: A fixed 5% commission on all orders generated by any tender won through our service. The commission is calculated on the gross sales value of each order paid by the monopoly, and applies to every order from a won tender for as long as that tender continues to generate orders.

The subscription is invoiced and paid upfront at sign-up. Subscriptions renew annually unless cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date.

Commission is invoiced after each order is confirmed by the monopoly and is payable within 30 days of invoice.

All fees are non-refundable, including in cases where no tender is won during the subscription period.

5. Sample shipping (excluded from the service)

Many tenders require physical product samples to be shipped to the relevant monopoly.

All sample-related costs — including production, packaging, freight, customs, duties, and any applicable taxes — are paid entirely by the producer and are not covered, reimbursed, or insured by Nordopoly.

We will inform you of sample requirements before submitting any tender. You decide whether to proceed.

6. Importer partners

  • Nordopoly works with licensed importer partners legally authorised to submit tenders and import alcohol in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
  • Importer partners handle compliance, logistics, contracts, and invoicing for any accepted products.
  • Importer partners retain the standard importer margin on product sales, in line with monopoly rules. This margin is separate from Nordopoly's 5% commission.
  • Nordopoly is not responsible for the actions, decisions, or performance of importer partners.

7. Producer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date product information and documentation.
  • Producing and shipping any samples required by a tender, at your own cost.
  • Holding all licences, certifications, and approvals required in your country of origin.
  • Being able to supply the volumes you commit to in a tender application.
  • Complying with all laws relating to the production, export, and sale of alcoholic beverages in your country.

8. No guarantee of success

  • Submitting a tender through Nordopoly does not guarantee that your product will be accepted.
  • The decision to accept or reject any product is made entirely by the Nordic monopolies.
  • Nordopoly has no influence over monopoly buying decisions.
  • Our service covers monitoring, matching, and application support — not results.

9. Intellectual property

  • All content, branding, software, and materials produced by Nordopoly are owned by Corti Studios AB or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit our materials without written permission.
  • You retain ownership of your product information and catalogue. You grant Nordopoly a non-exclusive licence to use this information for the sole purpose of delivering the service to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • Nordopoly accepts no responsibility for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost opportunities, missed deadlines, or delays.
  • Nordopoly is not liable for: the decisions of any monopoly, the performance, errors, or omissions of any importer partner, loss, damage, or delay of samples in transit, errors or omissions in tender information published by monopolies, the outcome of any tender, or any commercial, regulatory, or operational consequence arising from the use of the service.
  • Nordopoly's total liability to you, for any claim arising from or related to the service, is limited to the total commissions you have paid to Nordopoly in the 12 months before the claim arose. Where no commissions have been paid, total liability is limited to EUR 500.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Force majeure

Nordopoly is not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to monopoly schedule changes, regulatory changes, strikes, transport disruptions, natural disasters, pandemics, war, or technical failures of third-party providers.

12. Data and privacy

We process your data in compliance with EU GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, storage, and your rights.

13. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by writing to info@nordopoly.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. No refunds are issued for unused time.
  • Commission obligations survive cancellation. If a tender was won through our service during an active subscription, the 5% commission continues to apply to all orders generated by that tender, for as long as those orders are placed by the monopoly — even after your subscription has ended.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. In serious cases (such as fraud or misrepresentation) we may terminate without refund.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

15. Changes

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • We will notify you of material changes by email.
  • Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
